Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Compliance & Audit Manager within the Global HR Systems team to finalize and manage compliance testing across HR platforms, ensuring controls function effectively and reporting to stakeholders. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity, Legal, Data Privacy, Payroll, and Information Security teams to safeguard employee data and support audits globally.

You will lead audit planning, testing, remediation tracking, and CAPA investigations while driving the expansion of SmartAudit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 8+ years of professional work experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or related areas.
• 5+ years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, internal controls, governance, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience with audit methodologies, regulatory compliance requirements, and internal control frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience supporting internal and external audits, including testing, evidence collection, remediation, and audit reporting.
• 3+ years of analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills with ability to assess control effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer HR Systems compliance, audit, and governance programs.
• Document, map, and assess internal controls and processes for audit readiness.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate compliance, operational, and process risks.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Information Security, Data Privacy, and Cybersecurity teams for audits and data protection.
• Manage audit execution, testing, findings remediation, and CAPA tracking.
• Drive adoption and improvement of the Kainos SmartAudit platform and related automation.
• Lead HR Systems support for ISO, payroll, SOC 1, and divisional audits.
• Produce and maintain compliance reporting and audit metrics.
• Oversee user access governance, data retention, and data lifecycle management.
