Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an experienced Senior HR Controls Leader to own and enhance the global HR controls framework, focusing on payroll and broader HR processes. This role partners across HR, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and vendors to embed robust data protection and access controls.

You will lead audits, coordinate evidence, and drive remediation of SOX and other deficiencies, while building dashboards to monitor risk and control performance across regions and time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years in internal controls, auditing, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, ICFR, and global HR processes, including payroll.
• Familiarity with COSO framework, risk assessment, remediation processes.
• Ability to manage audits, coordinate documents, and communicate findings.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously enhance the global HR controls framework and governance across payroll.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, Privacy, and vendors to embed data protection controls.
• Advise stakeholders on control design and process improvements using data analytics.
• Lead HR support for audits and assurance reviews, including SOX and ISO, with evidence collection.
• Identify and monitor risks across HR operations, including privacy and cybersecurity.
• Translate risk assessments into preventive and detective controls.
• Remediate SOX and non-SOX deficiencies with root-cause analysis and ownership.
• Develop risk mitigation plans with target dates and verify corrective actions.
• Create dashboards and risk indicators for leadership on control performance.
• Establish HR business continuity and resilience framework for critical services.
• Coordinate global HR compliance across regions, balancing local requirements.
• Design and deliver training on SOX, access control, privacy, and evidence needs.
• Promote continuous improvement to automate controls and improve docs.
