Job summary

Encore Global seeks a Global Manager of HR Compliance Operations to ensure HR policies, programs, and practices comply with employment laws worldwide within a publicly traded framework.

You will partner with Legal, Internal Audit, Compliance, Payroll, and Data Privacy to translate regulations into scalable HR processes, manage SOX controls, and drive policy rollout and training globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Legal Studies or related field.
• Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master’s) in HR or Compliance preferred.
• HR or compliance certifications (PHR/SPHR, SHRM‑SCP, CCP, or equivalent) preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in HR compliance, employee relations, HR operations, or employment law.
• Experience with GDPR and global data privacy compliance.
• Experience with Internal Audit or enterprise compliance functions post‑IPO.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR compliance audits; coordinate responses to internal and external audits.
• Maintain HR compliance documentation, controls, and evidence for SOX.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate HR-related compliance risks; escalate as needed.
• Own HR SOX control design, testing, documentation, and remediation.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance on equity and compensation compliance.
• Provide guidance on compliant employment practices across jurisdictions.
• Drive policy rollout and deliver compliance training for HR partners and managers.
