Job summary

This role advises the executive team, navigates a global matrix, and aligns national, business unit, and functional communications with company priorities.

You will drive frontline and enterprise communications, lead crisis responses, shape external narratives, and develop a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field.
• 15 years of progressive communications experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role at a large, complex organization (10,000+ associates).
• Demonstrated experience developing frontline and associate communications strategies in manufacturing, distribution, retail, or similarly distributed environments.
• Proven ability to navigate and influence in a global matrix organization, building alignment without direct authority.
• Track record leading crisis response and protecting organizational reputation in regulated or high‑scrutiny environments.
• Deep experience driving communications through enterprise transformation and significant organizational change.

Responsibilities

• Executive advisory and leadership alignment with the U.S. company President and senior leadership.
• Internal communications and associate engagement across multi-site environments with collective bargaining.
• Content creation and editorial leadership for internal/external audiences including executive communications and leadership messaging.
• Transformation and change communications for company-wide initiatives.
• Frontline communications strategy reaching hourly and frontline workforces across channels.
• External reputation and media relations to shape and protect the company narrative.
• Crisis and issues management with Legal, PEOPLE, and Operations collaboration.
• Cross-functional partnership with PEOPLE, Finance, Sales, Operations, Transformation Office, and Marketing.
• Global matrix navigation to balance global standards with local relevance.
• Team leadership and development with a culture of excellence.
