Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Director, People to serve as the senior People partner for multiple corporate functions, translating strategy into a comprehensive people plan. The role drives organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, talent outcomes, and associate engagement while leading a small team.

The role reports to senior executives, advising on enterprise initiatives and ensuring high-quality execution across functions including Finance, Marketing, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible People/HR experience in a corporate or matrixed environment.
• Experience advising senior executives and leading complex people initiatives.
• Strong business, analytical, executive communication, and judgment capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People advisor to senior functional leaders with enterprise perspective.
• Lead organization design, operating model, and capability planning to improve effectiveness.
• Coach senior leaders to strengthen leadership and drive accountability; build diverse succession pipelines.
• Diagnose engagement and culture opportunities; drive measurable action plans with leaders.
• Provide leadership on complex associate relations matters and risk mitigation.
• Lead, coach, and develop the People team with clear priorities and ownership.
