Databricks is seeking a Lead GTM Enablement & Scale Architect for Field Engineering—Customer Skills to shape how 3,000+ engineers translate platform value into trusted executive conversations. You will craft end-to-end enablement, tie AI-driven content to real deals, and ensure programs lift customer outcomes at scale.

The role emphasizes building new playbooks, teaching influence at the CxO level, and embedding skills into hiring and career growth across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the global strategy for Customer Skills across Field Engineering end-to-end.
• Build influence approaches tied to the platform, discovery, business outcomes and executive engagement.
• Elevate the field from builder to trusted advisor by defining key behaviors for AI-enabled work.
• Design and ship enablement at scale using AI, content pipelines and practice scenarios.
• Develop AI-powered practice environments—role-plays, simulators, coaching agents—for SAs.
• Partner with FE leadership, People Team, and enablement peers on hiring, performance and career growth.
• Enable SAs and account teams to drive consumption at the CxO level.
• Establish leadership feedback loops with actionable insights for FE leadership.
• Create workshops and AI simulations with certification paths focused on behavior change.
• Remain a practitioner by spending 10–15% of time in customer executive conversations.
• Define and track KPIs measuring behavior change: confidence, engagement, velocity.
