Job summary

Allied Universal® is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Shift Lead to oversee daily GSOC operations, coordinate the team during shifts, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents. The role ensures compliance with laws and client regulations, while driving continuous improvement and staff training.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in a GSOC, strong technical writing skills, and a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of technical writing experience.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable security experience.
• Minimum of two years of Global Security Operations Center experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience using CCURE and other surveillance tools.
• Ability to communicate at an executive level, both written and oral.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Emergency Management, Communications, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations within the GSOC, ensuring all procedures and protocols are followed.
• Manage and coordinate GSOC team activities during the shift, including monitoring security systems, incidents, and emergencies.
• Update the GSOC Operator schedule and ensure coverage for openings and callouts.
• Ensure GSOC activities comply with laws and client regulations.
• Conduct audits to identify improvements and ensure training requirements are met.
• Develop, implement, and enforce SOPs for GSOC operations.
