Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in security-related field preferred.
• 3–5 years in security operations, GSOC, SOC or command center environments.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Experience with security monitoring tech such as video management systems and access control.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances or background checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations in a 24/7 monitoring environment.
• Supervise and support GSOC analysts in monitoring alarms, access control and surveillance platforms.
• Evaluate security alerts, incidents and intelligence reports to determine response actions and document escalations.
• Coordinate response activities and communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor threat intelligence feeds and provide shift briefings and situational awareness updates.
• Ensure adherence to GSOC policies and readiness of systems and technology.
• Assist with incident investigations and post-incident reporting.
• Identify gaps and recommend procedural or technology improvements.
• Support training, onboarding, and mentoring of GSOC staff.
