Accenture is seeking a Global Capability Center Engineering Lead/Principal Director in California. The role shapes engineering capabilities to enable GCC design, setup, and scalable solutions across product and platform engineering, software delivery, and operating models.

You will collaborate with solution teams, define engineering strategies, and govern delivery frameworks to drive innovation and transformation across the organization. Travel up to 50% may be required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Global Capability Center strategy, org design, operating models, and large-scale transformation including software development.
• 3+ years in engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, product development, or Industry X transformation leading cross-functional programs.
• 2+ years building and scaling engineering orgs, delivery centers, and GCC operating models.
• 1+ year leveraging AI-enabled engineering tools and data-driven insights to accelerate innovation and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support client origination, sales, and GCC setup engagements at headquarters, with deep expertise in engineering and software delivery.
• Define engineering strategies, design scalable product/platform delivery models, and align with target operating models.
• Establish modern engineering practices, governance, and delivery frameworks for efficient GCC operations.
• Contribute to enterprise transformation programs and accelerate digital innovation across initiatives.
• Ability to travel up to 50% is required.
