ALS Recruiting Ltd is seeking a dynamic Freight Forwarding Sales Executive in the United States. The role focuses on winning new clients and growing existing business within an international growth strategy, with a fully remote setup.

You will hunt for opportunities, assess profitability, and build long-term relationships, aiming to increase gross profit and market share. Requires 1-3 years field sales in freight forwarding and fluent English; travel as needed; DOE base salary $50k–$150k plus

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years field sales in freight forwarding or 2 years of operations experience.
• Good working knowledge of freight forwarding services, including international freight (import & export) and consolidation.
• Demonstrated competence in conflict management, decision making and strategic planning.
• Strong hunter mentality, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to think outside the box.
• Willingness to travel; fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Win, retain and develop customers through sales hunting and appointment setting for face-to-face meetings.
• Assess prospective accounts for profitability and strategic value to secure bids.
• Build rapport with customers through market knowledge and cross-functional collaboration.
• Increase gross profit and market share while developing relationships with new customers.
• Rigorous follow-up of offers and client development.
• Monitor shipment cuts (lost clients) and implement countermeasures.
• Conduct ongoing key account analysis.
• Execute strategic sales aligned with growth plans and targets.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed targets.
