Job summary

Shipco Transport Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Executive at our Medley, FL branch. The role focuses on expanding our ocean, air, and domestic transportation business through proactive prospecting and strong client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in international sales, experience with NVOCC or freight forwarders, and bilingual Spanish/English communication skills. This on-site position reports to the Branch General Manager and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in international transportation.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience with inside and outside sales techniques.
• NVOCC or freight forwarding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive weekly schedule of planned sales calls.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities within existing customers.
• Drive growth by securing new opportunities in Ocean, Air, and Domestic Transportation.
• Document sales call notes in the CRM within two business days.
• Coordinate follow-up on sales items with local staff.
• Analyze customer reports to identify trends and opportunities.
• Manage daily email and phone interactions with customers and internal teams.
• Meet with local managers and the General Manager to review client updates.
• Generate and distribute sales leads to Shipco USA offices and overseas partners.
• Organize calls and entertainment for corporate and international visitors.
