Job summary

The Leschaco Group in Houston is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. You will build a target customer portfolio, generate new business opportunities via phone, email and virtual meetings, and present Leschaco's logistics solutions to prospective customers.

You will manage the full sales cycle from qualification to negotiation and closing, maintain Salesforce records, and collaborate with operations to deliver competitive logistics offerings.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of freight forwarding or logistics sales experience.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Knowledge of international transportation, logistics solutions, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a target customer portfolio in partnership with the Sales Leadership team.
• Generate new business opportunities through phone, email, virtual meetings, and digital channels.
• Present Leschaco's services, value propositions, and logistics solutions to prospective customers.
• Participate in sales campaigns and business development initiatives.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify customer needs.
• Prepare, present, and follow up on freight quotations and pricing proposals.
• Support customer onboarding, implementations, and service trials.
• Assist with tariff and pricing updates and maintain accurate sales records in Salesforce.
• Manage customer registration and credit approval processes.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and vendors to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
• Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation, closing, and implementation.
