Job summary

Syntegon Telstar NA seeks a field service professional to install, commission and service pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment across customer sites on the West Coast. The role requires travel up to 75% and hands-on troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Applicants should have technical education or 5+ years in field service, strong GMP experience, and the ability to read basic ladder logic. Multilingual skills are a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Technical education or 5+ years of hands-on field service experience in regulated environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities; safe working practices.
• Experience with GMP environments (pharma, biotech, food) and basic PLC diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, start-up, commissioning, and service of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, valves, sensors, PLC I/O, HMIs and control components; identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
• Provide operation guidance and basic training to customers to ensure smooth operation.
