Job summary

KUKA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair, and service robotic systems at customer sites across the region. You will diagnose issues, perform on-site and remote support, and ensure service quality while maintaining accurate documentation.

The role requires travel, strong technical skills in electrical and mechanical systems, and the ability to train and mentor junior technicians. A BS degree plus 5+ years' related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc. prints and other related technical documentation.
• Knowledge of the fundamentals of customer service for phone and face-to-face contact with customers.
• PC skills/knowledge (MS Office environment, Internet, email, etc.).
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house, on-site and/or telephone troubleshooting, repairs and support of KUKA equipment.
• Travel to customer sites on short notice; frequently work long hours to meet customer needs.
• Provide assistance to customers and internal personnel for troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical and programming problems.
• Complete Field Service reports with accurate problem/solution details and obtain customer signature.
• Develop technical credibility and forward sales leads to the account manager.
• Coordinate with Service Manager to identify training needs and improve skills.
• Make backups of software/programming changes; provide copies to customer and file for KUKA.
