Job summary

KUKA Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support robotic/automation installations, repairs and service escalations at customer sites in the Orlando area and beyond. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills and the ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities include on-site troubleshooting, formal service reporting, and training of junior technicians. A BS degree in engineering and 5+ years of related experience are expected; passport and driver’s license are

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc. prints and related technical documentation.
Knowledge of fundamentals of customer service for phone and face-to-face contact with customers.
PC skills/knowledge (MS Office, Internet, email, etc.).
Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

Execute assigned robotic/automation jobs, including onsite installation, repair and follow up on service escalations.
Keep accurate records of service calls, maintain inventory of service parts, tools, and test equipment.
Provide on-the-job-training (OJT) and coaching for upcoming Field Service Technicians.
Travel to customer sites; perform troubleshooting, repairs, and support, including long hours when needed.
Lead by example and mentor Field Service Technicians; ensure safety and quality standards.
