Job summary

KUKA Aktiengesellschaft is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, repair and service robotic systems at customer sites. You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and programming issues, document service calls, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Travel domestically and internationally, provide on-site training, and lead by example with safety and quality standards. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in technical roles, plus a valid driver’s license and passport.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, electronic, etc. prints and other related technical documentation.
• Strong customer service skills for phone and face-to-face contacts.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.
• MS Office/PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned robotic/automation jobs including onsite installation, repair and follow-up on service escalations.
• Keeps accurate records of service calls and manages parts inventory.
• Travel to customer sites domestically and internationally; on-site and telephone support.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentoring for upcoming Field Service Technicians.
• Promote safety practices and adhere to quality standards.
