Job summary

Nordson Polymer Processing Systems in Minnesota seeks an experienced field service engineer to join our team. You will travel domestically and internationally to service extrusion equipment and provide installation, startup, commissioning, and preventive maintenance at customer sites.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to read drawings, safety awareness, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and deliver on-site

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree preferred; equivalent hands-on experience may be considered.
• Five+ years in supporting plastics extrusion, polymer processing, or related field service.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically and internationally to service Nordson PPS equipment at customer sites.
• Provide installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Train customer personnel on safe operation and best practices.
• Prepare field service reports documenting work performed and actions taken.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to resolve recurring field issues.
