Job summary

Nordson Polymer Processing Systems seeks an experienced field service professional to join our team. You will travel domestically and internationally to service Nordson PPS equipment, including extrusion dies, screen changers, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology or related field.
• Five+ years of experience supporting plastics extrusion, polymer processing, pelletizing, filtration, tooling, process equipment, or related field service applications.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in industrial plant environments.
• Experience with extrusion tooling, die maintenance, screen changers, melt pumps, valves, pelletizers, cleaning systems, or related Nordson PPS equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM or service management systems such as Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically and internationally to serve as Nordson's primary technical representative at customer sites.
• Provide installation support, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance for Nordson PPS equipment.
• Train customer personnel on safe operation and best practices for Nordson PPS equipment.
• Prepare field service quotations and provide technical recommendations related to service scope, labor, spare parts, upgrades and aftermarket opportunities.
