Job summary

Nordson Polymer Processing Systems is seeking an experienced field service professional to join our team. You will travel to customer sites to install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and maintain Nordson PPS equipment, including extrusion dies, screen changers, melt pumps, and related systems.

You will train customer personnel, document service reports, collect data in the CRM, and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two-year technical degree in related field preferred.
• Five+ years of experience supporting plastics extrusion or related field service applications.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues in industrial environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.
• Provide installation, startup, maintenance and repair for Nordson PPS equipment.
• Train customers on operation and safety practices.
• Prepare field service reports and document data.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing and Aftermarket Services to resolve issues.
• Follow safety requirements and PPE usage.
