Job summary

Hobré Instruments is seeking a service engineer to join a small, highly skilled team. The role involves a mix of internal factory/office work and external on-site assignments worldwide, including commissioning, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

You will travel extensively, interacting with diverse teams and cultures, and must stay composed under pressure while delivering high-quality service. An electronics/mechanical/chemical background and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electronics/Mechanics/Chemical or similar education.
• Affinity with process technology and instrumentation.
• Fluent in English; Dutch preferred but not required.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• A positive, independent, practical and analytical mindset which is capable to work in a team.
• Good communication in speaking and writing.
• Driving license.

Responsibilities

• Split between internal works at the factory/office and external works on site.
• Travel worldwide for commissioning, user training, trouble solving or preventative maintenance.
• Work with a variety of people and cultures, remaining calm in stressful situations.
• Support and train local users on site and assist with maintenance as needed.
