Lucid Motors in the United States is seeking a Global Supply Manager specializing in exterior components to manage a global supplier group and interface with Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Manufacturing to deliver world-class products on time and at cost. Travel 15-25% is expected.

You will drive sourcing for fascia-related parts, qualify suppliers, and balance cost, quality, and lead times across the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or applicable work experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• 2-3 years of Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience related to exterior automotive parts and/or resins.
• Deep knowledge of parts manufacturing processes, should-cost analyses, and cost models for design, production launch, and engineering changes.
• Strong understanding of plastic injection, welding, glazing, assembly, or other exterior parts production processes.
• Prior automotive parts launch experience is required.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with result-oriented execution.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).
• Ability to mitigate unforeseen issues creatively and effectively.

Responsabilités

• Lead sourcing and release activities for interior and exterior parts; issue POs for prototype and production components.
• Identify and qualify parts suppliers that meet Lucid’s expectations and program timelines.
• Create RFQs, review quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations balancing cost, quality, lead-time, and technical factors.
• Negotiate favorable contracts related to parts procurement and engineering services.
• Manage supplier development and parts availability timelines for prototypes and production start-up; resolve delays.
• Maintain supplier relationships and act as the primary contact for commercial issues; provide regular sourcing updates.
• Travel 15-25% for supplier business and program reviews.
