Job summary

Lucid Motors in Newark, CA is seeking a Staff Global Supply Manager for Key Components to lead global sourcing for PCBA and ECU components, drive supplier selection, negotiate terms, and align with design and manufacturing teams.

You will manage supplier development, conduct RFQs, oversee NRE/EDT contracts, track costs and lead times, and travel 15-25% to supplier reviews, delivering cost-competitive, high-quality components for advanced vehicle programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Finance required; Masters preferred.
8+ years of Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience with PCBA components.
Experience developing supply chain strategies for key components in ECUs.
Willingness to travel 15-25%.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and manage global suppliers for key components used in PCBA and ECU manufacturing.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms while balancing cost, quality, and lead time.
Collaborate with design and engineering to define component requirements.
Create RFQs, analyze quotations, and develop sourcing recommendations.
Drive supplier development and tooling timelines; manage delays.
Monitor supplier performance with regular market analysis.
Travel 15-25% for supplier reviews.
