Job summary

Premier Logistics is seeking an experienced Export Coordinator to manage international export shipments, primarily ocean freight, from booking to departure. You will handle documentation, carrier coordination, and customer communications to ensure accurate, timely execution.

The role requires knowledge of U.S. export regulations, AES filings, and closure of shipments with precise documentation and compliance. Strong coordination across internal teams and external partners is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of export coordination or ocean freight experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. export regulations and AES filing requirements.
• Experience with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, trucking companies, and port terminals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate international export shipments from booking through departure, primarily ocean freight.
• Prepare and review export documentation (invoices, packing lists, B/L, SLI, Origin certificates).
• Coordinate container bookings, drayage, and terminal appointments; monitor schedules and deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for export customers and provide status updates.
• Review costs, validate against quotations, and support invoicing processes.
• Collaborate with Dispatch, Warehouse, Billing, and Management; maintain accurate shipment records.
