JAS Worldwide is seeking an Export Specialist to facilitate movement of products out of the United States by ocean and air freight, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. You will handle bookings, documentation, rates, invoicing and issue resolution for customers and overseas partners.

The role emphasizes coordination, accuracy, and timely communication with agents, customers and authorities, maintaining files and data entry in our systems, and supporting other departments as needed

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages preferred.
• Experience in freight forwarding industry preferred.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and coordinate export documentation.
• Coordinate cargo pickup and monitor status.
• Communicate with export authorities, customers and suppliers in relevant territories.
• Obtain spot rates when necessary.
• Communicate with overseas agents and clients (pre-alerts, rate requests, shipment status).
• Track shipments and update customers/agents.
• Create and maintain customer files; generate invoices and approve payables.
• Audit files for accuracy and data entry.
