Job summary

ASF is seeking an Export Coordinator to manage end-to-end export operations from order processing to delivery. You will coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate status to customers.

The role requires 3+ years in export/logistics, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of Descartes and ocean/air freight is a plus. Onsite Monday-Friday in Charleston area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with export/import documentation software/tools (e.g., Descartes).
• Ocean import/export experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in Export or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end export process including order processing, scheduling, and tracking.
• Prepare, review, and process export documentation (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, origin certificates).
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Book cargo space with carriers and arrange transportation logistics.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide updates to customers.
• Manage billing and invoicing for export files with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and documentation for audits.
• Handle customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction regarding timelines.
