JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Export Specialist to facilitate the movement of products and materials out of the country via ocean and air freight, while ensuring compliance with local and international laws and company policies.

The role includes handling bookings, rates, document production, accounting, and interaction with agents and customers. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, climate-controlled office environment.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and coordinate export documentation for lawful execution.
• Coordinate cargo pickup/transfer and monitor status.
• Communicate with export authorities, customers and suppliers.
• Obtain spot rates when necessary.
• Interact with overseas agents and clients about pre-alerts and shipments.
• Track shipments and update customers and agents.
• Create and maintain customer files.
• Create customer invoices and approve payables.
• Audit files for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure accurate data entry and document uploads.
• Assist other departments or branch manager as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
