JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. seeks an Air Export Specialist to coordinate air export shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with laws and procedures. You will provide service to exporters and accounting agents, handle bookings, rates, and problem resolution.

The role requires 2–5 years of air export experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Cargowise. Bilingual abilities are a plus, with a focus in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience handling Air Exports shipments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of all customs laws, practices and procedures.
• Bilingual is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and coordinate documentation for air export activities.
• Coordinate cargo pickup and monitor status.
• Communicate with authorities, customers, and suppliers.
• Manage carrier and vendor rates.
• Create and maintain customer files; provide invoicing.
• Audit files for accuracy.
• Perform US Customs AES filings.
• Support other departments as needed.
