Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking an Air Export Specialist to facilitate outbound air shipments, prepare documents, provide rate quotes, and ensure compliance with laws. You will support exporting customers and accounting agents with bookings, rates, documentation, and issue resolution.

This role requires 2–5 years in air exports, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; Cargowise experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of air exports experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Know-how of customs laws, practices and procedures; detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for air export activities to ensure lawful execution.
• Coordinate cargo pickup and transfer while monitoring status.
• Communicate with authorities, customers, and suppliers in relevant territories.
• Manage carrier and vendor rates; obtain spot rates when necessary.
• Track shipments and provide invoicing and status updates.
