Job summary

JLL is seeking a Senior AMER & Global Event Operations Manager to lead end-to-end planning and execution of global events from the South San Francisco base. You will develop and enforce global standards, coordinate cross-regional teams, and own dashboards across regions for executive oversight.

This onsite role requires strong vendor and budget management, risk controls, and the ability to drive change across a large, multinational network while delivering brand-aligned, safe, and memorable

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in corporate event planning, event operations, or workplace experience across multi-site or global portfolios.
• Proven execution leadership for high-profile events including run-of-show and on-site coordination.
• Experience drafting operational SOPs, SLAs, audits, and standardized playbooks.
• Coordinating cross-regional teams (global regions) and providing guidance.
• Escalation triage with stakeholders and client leadership.
• Data-informed approach to evaluating attendee feedback and event performance.
• Ability to lead teams through change in a global network.
• Vendor management, negotiations, and budget oversight.
• Proficient use of event management software and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational planning, logistics, and execution for AMER workplace events and high-visibility programs.
• Draft, refine, and enforce global operational standards and governance.
• Coordinate cross-regional teams to drive global alignment and efficiency.
• Oversee audits, reporting, and executive dashboards across AMER/EMEA/APAC.
• Manage escalation triage and issues resolution across regions.
• Direct regional site contacts, Experience Managers, and Event Coordinators.
• Lead weekly briefings and ensure operational readiness for major initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, contracts, and budget.
• Enforce capacity frameworks and policy compliance globally.
• Track budgets and post-event reconciliations with safety and risk controls.
