Job summary

BDO USA, LLP in New York is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee complex compensation and benefits tax matters, including equity compensation, 409A, and ASC 718/740 analyses. You will guide client deliverables, research benchmarking, and provide leadership on engagement teams.

Ideal candidates have CPA or JD plus 8+ years in compensation & benefits, with strong communication, project management, and tax software proficiency.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in compensation & benefits, required.
• CPA certification or JD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute client deliverables related to compensation and benefits topics.
• Apply firm policies and tax quality standards to analyses.
• Research and prepare compensation planning and benchmarks for executive models.
• Communicate with clients in writing and verbally; present tax opinions as needed.
• Supervise GES Managers and below; ensure training on tax software and databases.
