Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Experienced Senior Associate to help maximize client benefits by optimizing current and future taxes, including equity and deferred compensation and corporate income taxes. The role involves developing strategies, conducting research, and delivering actionable tax planning guidance for complex compensation issues.

Responsibilities include research, tax compliance, compensation consulting, and strategy development, with supervision of associates and interns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Human Resources required.
• Master’s degree in Business Services, Human Resources or other relevant field preferred.
• Three (3) or more years of compensation and/or strategic service consulting experience preferred.
• Certified Compensation Professional, CPA certification or other relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify situations requiring research and outline issues with sources.
• Analyze researched facts and sources used; prepare detailed reports.
• Assist with compensation planning/benchmarking for executive compensation models.
• Ensure clients comply with authorities and minimize compensation-related tax burdens.
• Document and organize work product for review by senior professionals.
