Job summary

UKG is seeking an Employee Relations Partner, Transformation & Employment Practices, to advise on policy interpretation and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions. This role partners with Legal, HRBPs, and COI teams to align employment standards and manage risk while supporting workforce transformation initiatives.

The role involves drafting agreements, supporting audits, and guiding policy development, with an emphasis on consistent global practices and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, human resources, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting policy development, interpretation, and employment compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with risk assessment.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, maintain, and interpret global and regional employment policies; partner with Legal to ensure compliance.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and assess impacts on policies and processes.
• Assist with State and Federal Reporting as needed.
• Support employment practice reviews, audits, and compliance activities (SOX, ISO, etc.).
• Support COI governance activities with Legal and stakeholders.
• Assist background check adjudications with Talent Acquisition and review findings for risk.
• Participate in workforce transformation initiatives and due diligence during mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and review employment-related agreements, notices, and communications.
• Partner with ER, HRBPs, Legal, and leaders on employee matters and escalation when needed.
• Assist in PEP and cross-functional projects and process improvements.
• Contribute to training development on policies, practices, and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and operational effectiveness.
