Job summary

UKG is seeking an Employee Relations Partner, Transformation & Employment Practices to join the People & Employment Practices team. You will advise on policy interpretation, employment compliance, and risk mitigation across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with Legal, HRBPs, and cross-functional partners.

The role supports governance of employment standards, workforce transformation initiatives, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, and the development of compliant employment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee relations, HR, employment practices, employment law, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting policy development, policy interpretation, employee relations matters, and employment compliance activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and interpret global and regional employment policies.
• Monitor changes in employment laws and assess policy impacts.
• Assist with state and federal reporting.
• Support audits and SOX/ISO compliance.
• Manage COI governance activities with legal and stakeholders.
• Oversee background check adjudications with Talent Acquisition.
• Support workforce transformation initiatives including mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft and implement employment-related agreements and notices.
• Collaborate with ER, HRBPs, Legal on employee matters.
• Support cross-functional projects and process improvements.
• Develop and deliver training on employment policies and compliance.
