Job summary

Applied Systems, a remote-friendly United States employer, seeks a Manager of HRIS & People Technology to own the HR technology roadmap, lead UKG Pro and WFM initiatives, and manage a small HRIS team. You will partner with People Operations, Compensation, Recruiting, IT, Finance, and Data teams to ensure reliable, scalable HR tech.

The role emphasizes governance, data architecture, and cross-functional leadership to drive a data-driven People function at scale.

Qualifications

7+ years of HRIS or HR technology experience.
Significant UKG Pro experience, ideally including WFM.
Experience leading HR technology implementations and integrations.
Strong understanding of HR data architecture and system design.
Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving.

Responsibilities

Own the HR technology roadmap, including UKG Pro, WFM, Benefits Administration, and related systems.
Lead HRIS administration, configuration, security, and governance.
Oversee HR system integrations and data flows across the People technology ecosystem.
Partner with IT and Data teams to improve reliability, scalability, and reporting infrastructure.
Lead HR technology work associated with major initiatives, acquisitions, and system implementations.
Establish strong operational processes, documentation, and governance.
Develop and lead a small team of HRIS professionals and external partners.
