Job summary

Bitpanda invites a data protection leader to design and drive our global DPMS, ensuring privacy by design across markets and product lines. You will be the Group DPO and main contact for authorities, shaping strategy and incident response.

You will collaborate with executives, engineering, and product teams to provide pragmatic privacy guidance on cutting-edge initiatives involving AI, blockchain, and data transfers. Fluency in English is essential, German is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data protection experience in international settings or with regulatory authorities.
• Proven ability to navigate complex regulatory environments for digital assets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German will be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise-level data protection management system (DPMS).
• Liaise with data protection authorities across Europe, UK and UAE.
• Partner with C-suite, engineering and product on privacy for AI and blockchain initiatives.
