Job summary
Legacy Supply Chain is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and pursue new sales opportunities for its North American Freight Brokerage and International Freight Forwarding divisions. Qualifications
- At least 3 years of Transportation Brokerage Experience.
- At least 3 years of New Business Development Experience.
- Energetic, relentless, and hunting for opportunities.
- Strong sales negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficient in Outlook; intermediate in Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments between customers and carriers.
- Pursue new sales opportunities through research, analysis, and discovery.
- Build and grow relationships with clients.
- Develop routing and pricing solutions using multiple rate systems.
- Serve as the first contact for clients and meet service expectations.
- Collaborate with Operations on day-to-day freight movements.
- Participate in sales meetings and report on goals and wins.
- Analyze industry news and market trends.
