Job summary

Sciens Logistics is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our book of business in the domestic transportation and freight brokerage market.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of sales within logistics, strong industry relationships, and a proven track record of new business development. Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in truckload, LTL, expedited, and dedicated services is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in logistics or freight brokerage
• Strong network in transportation/shipping industry
• Proven track record of new business development
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience considered

Responsibilities

• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, industry relationships, and existing network
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of domestic freight brokerage opportunities
• Sell transportation solutions including truckload, LTL, expedited, dedicated and other domestic services
• Develop and grow long-term relationships with shippers and key decision-makers
• Collaborate with operations and carrier teams to ensure onboarding and execution
• Represent Sciens Logistics at meetings and industry events
• Maintain CRM activity, pipeline information, and sales reporting
