Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering based in the United States. You will lead regional pre-sales teams, shape strategy, and drive revenue growth through strong technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will oversee demonstrations, PoCs, and customer solutions across API security, cloud-native tech, cybersecurity, and AI security concerns, partnering with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales or technical consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Solutions Engineering, MIS, or equivalent.
• Experience leading regional or distributed teams with coaching and career development.
• Proven ability leading individual contributors with clear objectives and accountability.
• Strong knowledge of the technical sales cycle: discovery, design, demos, PoCs, and customer engagement.
• Deep API expertise (REST, GraphQL) and API gateways; security frameworks like OAuth/JWT.
• Cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes and Docker.
• Familiarity with AI security concepts and challenges in modern AI apps.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP; cybersecurity practices including SIEM/SOAR, CI/CD security, OWASP API Top 10.
• Analytical, strategic thinker with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to pre-sales leads and contributors.
• Lead and develop regional solutions engineering teams.
• Guide the technical opportunity sales cycle with strong guidance.
• Communicate team strategy and progress to leadership.
• Drive initiatives to adopt new security products and solutions.
• Align technical strategy with commercial objectives across stakeholders.
• Support teams in delivering demos, PoCs, evaluations, and presentations.
• Develop reports and insights to enable data-driven planning.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and engagement.
• Build alignment and trust across Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and technical teams.
• Translate security capabilities into customer value propositions to support revenue growth.
