Shield AI, a defense-tech innovator, seeks a Head of Deal Strategy and Execution to lead an operating model turning complex domestic and international opportunities into executable transactions. You will shape strategy, architecture, and packaging for multi-element deals including platforms, software, subscriptions, services, and partnerships.

This leadership role chairs cross-functional reviews, defines engagement criteria, and builds reusable plays.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in revenue, commercial, or deal leadership in B2B tech.
• Experience building or leading a deal desk or commercial structuring function.
• Deep familiarity with international government contracting and complex deals.
• Defense, dual-use, or public-sector exposure preferred.
• Experience hiring and developing high-performing teams of strategists.

Responsibilities

• Define team charter, operating model, engagement criteria, and escalation framework.
• Chair cross-functional deal reviews with executives and provide clear decisions.
• Own strategic deal architecture, including value hypothesis, configuration, pricing, and terms.
• Direct modular deal catalog, bundles, pricing guardrails, and handoffs across offerings.
• Establish deal plays and reusable content for field execution.
• Govern pricing and delivery exceptions with fast escalation.
• Measure impact on cycle time, velocity, and gross margin; lead postmortems.
• Build and lead Regional Deal Strategists, Business Proposals, and Architecture teams.
• Partner on trainings and enablement; coordinate with Rev Ops on incentive programs.
