Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. in New York is seeking a Global Data Science Lead to drive the Data Science AI strategy within the Global Analytics Team. You will lead a group of data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and analysts to deliver AI-native, data-driven solutions for life sciences clients.

You will own model governance, testing, deployment, and collaboration across consulting, data science, and engineering to translate strategy into impactful delivery across projects and engagements.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics, ML, Applied Statistics, or quantitative field with 5+ years industry experience, or MS with 8+ years research experience.
• Experience in Life Sciences analytics and applying analytics/AI to related data sets.
• Hands-on experience building or deploying LLM-based systems; advanced AI techniques incl. NLP, A/B testing, active learning.
• Proven leadership of teams of 10+ people.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with changing priorities.
• Must be results-oriented with minimal supervision.
