Job summary

Veeva is seeking a Global Data Science Lead in Boston, MA with remote options to drive the Data Science AI strategy within the Global Analytics Team. You will lead data scientists, ML engineers, and analysts to deliver AI-driven insights on life sciences data.

You will own model management, testing, deployment, and collaborate with consulting, product, and engineering to translate strategy into concrete delivery.

Qualifications

• PhD in Economics, ML, or related quantitative field with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Life sciences analytics/AI/ML experience preferred.
• Hands-on with LLM-based systems and advanced AI techniques.
• Proven leadership of teams of 10+ people.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable with changing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and analysts.
• Translate data science strategy into team priorities and delivery plans.
• Own model management, observability, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven data solutions.
• Ensure robust data and AI infrastructure supporting deliverables.
