Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking a Global Strategic Account Manager for our Data Center Solutions team.

You will support enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation customers with financially accretive building solutions that connect operational needs, digital infrastructure, and measurable business outcomes. You will lead strategic sales activity for large-scale data center accounts across the U.S., building long-term relationships with facility owners and owner representatives while identifying,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive strategic account sales experience at the executive level and above.
• 5+ years of experience selling enterprise-level solutions in the data center market.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
• Experience working in highly matrixed company environment.
• Financial acumen and ability to organize large data sets.
• Demonstrated ability to influence market at key levels.
• Ability to travel up to 25% (nation-wide; virtually located position).
• HVAC industry experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Drive enterprise-level sales opportunities from prospecting to close.
• Promote value proposition to executives, consultants, and decision-makers in the data center market.
• Develop and present comprehensive solutions aligned with client goals and financial objectives.
• Build relationships with enterprise, hyperscale, and colocation clients across multi-site accounts.
• Collaborate with cross-domain account managers to create multi-site account plans.
