Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for global data center operations. You will solve complex infrastructure challenges, optimize processes, and drive performance to support AWS growth.

You will build strong internal and external relationships, implement innovative solutions, and ensure safety and reliability across facilities. Travel to active sites will be required as part of ongoing site development and transition.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a data center technology role.
• 4+ years in management or team lead.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience with TCP/IP networking and data center cabling.
• Willingness to travel between data center locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of engineers operating critical infrastructure.
• Maintain existing data centers and enable new ones.
• Improve processes to optimize operational metrics.
• Manage relationships with vendors and contractors.
• Create and maintain data center metrics to drive improvements.
• Contribute to incident, problem, change and capacity management.
