Qualifications

• 2+ years in a data center technology role.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years in a management or team lead function.
• Experience conducting behavioral interviews and hiring.
• Experience in technical writing in a relevant field.
• Experience contributing to automation opportunities within an operations environment.
• Ability to work evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Manage the performance of a diverse team(s) across locations.
• Develop Career Paths for employees and update internal tools.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels.
• Ensure day-to-day data center operations with queue management and 24/7 shift logistics.
• Be the subject matter expert across all data center operations areas.
• Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met.
• Inspire and guide improvements in process, technology, and automation.
• Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as the call leader.
• Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations.
• Recommend and oversee policies to meet best practices and SLAs.
• Maintain on-call schedules coordinating absences and vacations.
• Strive to improve customer experience with high service quality.
