Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead a 24x7 team responsible for electrical and mechanical systems in mission‑critical environments. You will supervise engineers and facility managers, drive reliability, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to meet safety and performance goals.

The role emphasizes building and equipment operation knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to manage complex projects within a large-scale data center portfolio.

Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial electrical or mechanical systems experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience with 8–10+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Oversee safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team across shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive from conception to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels are maintained and grow with expansions.
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors ensuring SLAs.
• Efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
