Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the front line of data center operations, ensuring 99.999% uptime and reliable critical infrastructure.

You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate 24x7 on-site teams, and drive safety, efficiency, and cost control across multiple sites. As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, you will work with cross-functional teams to maintain high availability, respond to emergencies, and push improvement projects

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in a management role with 5+ direct reports.
• 5+ years in data center or critical environment with UPS, generators, HVAC, and other critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data center physical infrastructure and ensure high availability.
• Manage on-site teams of 24x7 technicians, subcontractors and vendors.
• Drive safety and security culture and compliance within the team.
• Hire, coach, and promote team members; responsibility for career development and performance management.
• Oversee operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS, PDU, chillers, CRAHU, etc.
• Respond to out-of-hours emergency calls; drive projects from conception to completion.
