Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the critical infrastructure and 24x7 engineering teams across complex data center environments. You will ensure reliability, safety, and performance while driving operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

You will oversee electrical and mechanical systems, coordinate with vendors, and drive improvements across multiple shifts. A strong background in power, cooling, and facility operations is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 5+ direct reports
• 3+ years of electrical or mechanical experience
• 3+ years of engineering, installation, or startup/commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, security, availability, quality, and performance across shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Lead improvement projects from conception to completion with cross-team coordination.
• Maintain staffing levels and support expansion.
• Involvement in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third‑party vendors to meet SLAs.
• Manage the operations budget and expenditures efficiently.
