Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the critical infrastructure operations across our data centers.

You will be the frontline of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring reliability, uptime, and cost efficiency while guiding a diverse team of technicians and facilities professionals. Your role encompasses overseeing safety, performance, and quality, coordinating with vendors, and driving projects to completion in a fast-paced, mission-critical

Qualifications

3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience or related IT education.
3+ years of experience with industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 8-10+ direct reports.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
Ensure safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team across shift schedules.
Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
Lead improvement projects from conception to completion with cross-team coordination.
Maintain staffing levels and plan for expansions.
Be involved in ongoing construction activities.
Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet SLAs.
Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
