Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support large-scale data center networks across global locations. You will work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and software groups to evolve architectures, build automation, and drive standardized network deployment practices.

You should bring deep experience in data center networking, TCP/IP routing, optical transport, and structured cabling, with a proven ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with using AI to improve deployment reliability, quality and speed.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale data center networks.
• Knowledge of structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data center networks across multiple locations.
• Research, deploy technologies and topologies to scale data centers.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and standardization of data centers.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to develop new features.
• Create network design packages for deployment teams and validate cabling.
• Develop automation and tooling to ensure consistency in design and ops.
• Travel 25% to 40% as project demands.
