Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer for Deployment & Support to deploy, configure, and manage our data center networks across the globe. You will work with multi-vendor environments, implement scalable solutions, and ensure reliability of production networks including edge, backbone, optical, and CDN.

The role requires 6+ years in large-scale networks, experience with BGP/IS-IS/MPLS, and strong collaboration across global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
6+ years designing, deploying and operating large-scale networks.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing/switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, MPLS, RSVP-TE, VRRP).
Knowledge of TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS; IPv4/IPv6; multi-vendor environments.
Experience with physical infrastructure design including cabling and fiber.
Strong project management skills and ability to work in global teams.

Responsibilities

Deploy, configure, and manage network infrastructure in data center campuses.
Collaborate with partner teams to ensure reliability of regional networks.
Schedule maintenance, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning of production networks.
Create deployment packages and maintain documentation and asset databases.
Develop and implement global best practices and scalable network solutions.
Support dev, test, and integration of new hardware and software platforms.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation; travel 10–30% as required.
